- Q: I want to apply to study Economics and Management, but I am not doing Maths A-level. Can I still apply?
- A: While Maths A-Level (or equivalent) is a recommended entrance requirement for this course, it is not essential. It is possible that
other evidence of mathematical ability or interest may be sufficient (you may wish to mention this
in your personal statement). Clearly, anyone who is unable to do deal with maths or who dislikes it, should
not be applying for this course.
- Q: How should I prepare for the interview?
- A: Have a look at the University interview advice pages.
- Q: Is there anything I should read in preparation for the interview?
- A: There is no particular recommended reading. You may wish to read some general books about economics, for example,
those by Paul Krugman and Stephen E. Landsburg (available through Amazon). You may also
find it helpful and interesting to read the Economist magazine and the Financial Times.
