Electoral Behaviour Seminar for Graduate Students

Nuffield College, University of Oxford

9th June 2005

A one day workshop for graduate students in electoral behaviour will be held on Thursday June 9th at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.  The purpose of the workshop is to provide graduate students working in this field with a forum to present their work and to obtain valuable specialist feedback both from one another and established academics based in Oxford.  The event also provides a welcome opportunity to meet and discuss ideas with like-minded people in a relaxed and informal setting.

Call for Presenters

We are currently looking for people who would like to present at this year’s seminar.  We welcome proposals, either for finished papers or works in progress, on any aspect of electoral behaviour although preference will be given to empirical work which makes some use of quantitative methodology.  If you would like to submit a proposal please email a title and abstract (200 words or less) together with details of your current status (e.g. year of study, proposed date of completion) to the convenors at the addresses below.  The closing date for submissions is Thursday May 5th. We look forward to hearing from you.

This year’s seminar follows a similar successful event held in May 2004.  For details of last year’s programme here
