The College has some flats for students and partners about a mile from the main site. They cannot accommodate children, and students with children are advised to apply to the University Accommodation Office at Ewert House, Ewert Place, Summertown, Oxford OX2 7DD for further information about this.

Students living in College flats and off-site accommodation are provided with a study in or near the College.

Students seeking maternity leave should approach their funding bodies for details. The College has its own comprehensive maternity and paternity scheme, full details of which can be found in the student handbook. The general aim of this scheme is to support pregnant students and students on maternity or paternity leave to ensure that they are not disadvantaged.

Nuffield College has access to one sponsored nursery place, and matriculated students are eligible to apply for this place at one of the University’s nurseries, if the place is available. The University’s nursery provision is oversubscribed, and there is a long waiting list, therefore it is advisable to apply for a place as soon as possible.
