Research training

Nuffield is a graduate college of the University of Oxford specialising in the social sciences, particularly Economics, Politics, and Sociology. Although it is primarily a research establishment, nearly all the College's academics teach on the University's graduate degrees and supervise Masters and Doctoral students enrolled at Oxford. Details of most of these courses are on the following Departmental websites: Economics, Politics and Sociology, while the general University's graduate Prospectus gives exhaustive coverage.

On this page we detail regular, non-University based courses run by Nuffield academics.

Electoral Behaviour Seminar for Graduate Students

Organised by graduate students at Nuffield for UK students in this area.

Royal Economic Society's Easter School in Econometrics

A week long school setup for Ph.D. students and new faculty. Each year covers a specialised topic. Organised by David Hendry, Bent Nielsen and Neil Shephard. It is partially funded by the ESRC.
