Alexander Evans                                                                 

                                                    


Alexander Evans is a Gwilym Gibbon Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford, and also works for the UK Foreign Office. He is interested in two aspects of social networks: informal policy networks, and how they influence policy decisions, and the comparative study of cultural networks across different societies, and their social and political roles. He has a particular interest in diasporas, and has written extensively on Kashmiris. His latest book chapter is on Informal Networks and Policymaking (October 2008).
