DPhil in Economics

I am a DPhil candidate at the University of Oxford, Department of Economics and Nuffield College.

My research interests lie at the intersection of Finance and Macroeconomics, with the main focus on how models of asymmetric information and agency problems in corporate finance may help us understand macro-finance phenomena. In my recent work, I investigate how periods of strong economic growth can lead to credit and investment booms during which banks increasingly rely on demandable short-term debt, resulting in financial crises if expected high growth does not materialise.
