Academic Profile

Research Interests: Macroeconomics, Monetary economics, Macro-finance.

I am a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Senior Research Fellow at Nuffield College. I gained my PhD in economics from the European University Institute in Florence and have worked as a consultant for the Bank of England and as a professor at the University of Warwick. My specialisation is macroeconomics; my main research interest is in economic policy. I am involved in editing several economics journals.
