Yoav is currently studying for a DPhil in Sociology at the University of Oxford, where he researches gender differences in the endorsement of right wing populism in Europe and America. Yoav works under the supervision of Prof. Nan Dirk de Graaf, with the support of the Oxford-Reuben Graduate Scholarship and Nuffield College.

Yoav received his BA and MA from Tel Aviv University, with a thesis about gender-based labour market inequality and globalization, under the supervision of Prof. Moshe Semyonov and Prof. Hadas Mandel.

His main fields of interest revolve around political and economic sociology, and political psychology.
