Dulce Manzano is Professor of Sociology at the University Complutense of Madrid. She has also been invited professor in several international universities such as the IE University (School of International Relations). She was a postdoctoral fellow in the area of political economy and comparative politics at the Juan March Institute for Advanced Study in the Social Sciences (Madrid). She has a PhD in Political Science (2007) and is a doctoral member of the Juan March Institute. Dulce has been Visiting Scholar at New York University (2002-2005) and at the Centre d'Ètudes Européennes (SciencesPo Paris).
She has participated in several national and international research projects in the field of political economy, sociology of education and comparative politics. Her most recent publications include BRINGING DOWN THE EDUCATIONAL WALL. Political Regimes, Ideology and the Expansion of Education, published in Cambridge University Press in 2017. Her articles have been published in Comparative European Politics, Political Studies, South European Society and Politics, Papers and Revista Internacional de Sociología.
