Ginevra Floridi

Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Sociology

I am a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Sociology at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. Before joining Nuffield, I was a Research Associate in the Department of Global Health & Social Medicine at King's College London, where I remain affiliated. I have a PhD in Demography from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

I am interested in intergenerational transfers of support within families and their relationship to inequality, social mobility, and welfare systems. I also work on socio-economic inequalities in access to long-term care. My primary methods of analysis consist of multilevel models, multivariate analysis and causal inference methods.
