Dr Gregg McClymont is Director, Policy and External Affairs at not-for-profit B&CE, providers of The People’s Pension. He is co-editor of two recent volumes on global pension system design (Towards a new pensions settlement: the international experience, Rowman and Littlefield, 2016, 2018) and an advisor to the University of Bristol’s AHRC funded project ‘Thatcher’s Pension Reforms’. Gregg was successively a Thouron Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, Marquis of Lothian Scholar at Oxford, and a tutorial fellow in history at St Hugh’s College, Oxford, before entering Parliament in 2010. He was Shadow Minister of State for Pensions for four years, and a Commissioner on the Prime Minister’s Commission on Further Devolution to Scotland before losing his seat at the 2015 General Election.
