I am currently reading for the MPhil Economics, funded by a joint Clarendon-Oxford University Scholarship. My research interests are mostly in Applied Microeconomics and Labour Economics.
Prior to joining Nuffield, I completed an undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Manchester, where I graduated as the top student of my cohort. I’ve also had research internships at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and the Romanian Ministry of Public Finance.
So far, I’ve worked on projects assessing the impact of the changing nature of work on public pension coverage, measuring self-employment income under-reporting, and assessing the effects of introducing job search requirements for lone parents’ benefits.
