Rodrigo Caputo

Research Associate at the Center of Experimental Social Sciences (CESS) - Santiago de Chile

Rodrigo Caputo is a Research Associate at the Santiago Centre for Experimental Social Sciences University of Oxford (Nuffield College). He is also an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Universidad de Santiago, Chile. He has a vast experience on monetary policy analysis and worked for nearly two decades at the Research Department of the Chilean Central Bank. 

He was a visiting scholar at the Bank of International Settlements, the BI Norwegian Business School and Nuffield College, Oxford University. Rodrigo earned a Ph.D. and M.Phil. degrees in economics from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. in economics from Universidad de Chile. The focus of his research is on monetary theory, open economy macroeconomics, economic history and political economy.
