MPhil in Politics (Comparative Government)

I am an MPhil student in Politics (Comparative Government) with a primary research interest in the long-run political consequences of disruptive historical events. I also maintain an interest in the study of political violence and ethnic politics. My previous research has focused on the impact of sectarian violence on electoral outcomes for sectarian parties. I have also worked on a project investigating the relationship between democracy and violence, and on a project investigating nativist populism.

My work is supported by the Clarendon Scholarship and a Nuffield College Award. Prior to my time at Nuffield College, I completed an undergraduate degree at NYU Abu Dhabi.
