Front of House Apprentice (Food and Beverage Service)
£16,380 per annum | 14 to 18 months Fixed Term Contract
Nuffield College is seeking to appoint two Front of House – Apprentices (Hospitality Team Members) to specialise in Food and Beverage Service in support of the College’s Front of House (FoH) team in the running of College events and catering activities.
You will receive full training within the Catering and Conference Department, learning all aspects of the role including food safety, customer service, communication and food and beverage service. In addition, you will be expected to work towards a Hospitality Team Member Apprenticeship qualification assessed by a further education college.
The successful candidates must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and have a genuine desire to pursue a career in Food and Beverage service and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and organizational skills. She or he must also be able to communicate clearly and professionally, work effectively under pressure individually and as part of a small team.
The hours of work are full-time, 35 hours a week, on a straight shift rota which will include some evenings and weekends. The postholders appointed will also be expected to work overtime, as required.
