Salary: £25,474 - £26,080 per annum

Nuffield College is a graduate College specialising in the Social Sciences. The College invites applications for the position of a Works & Maintenance Assistant to carry out, under the direction of the Buildings & Facilities Manager and the Maintenance Manager, works relating to (including ground-keeping) the reactive and planned maintenance activities on College buildings and grounds, both at the main College (on New Road) and at other operational sites owned by the College within the City Centre.

The post-holder should have experience of ground-keeping, or equivalent work in a professional environment, and the ability to carry out tasks together with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive, reliable and helpful attitude towards work and colleagues.

The postholder will be expected to work at least 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Applications from candidates who wish to take up the post on a part-time basis will also be considered.
