Nuffield students to call alumni and friends
This Saturday - 16 November - eight students will be calling Nuffield alumni and friends as part of the College's annual Giving Day to share College news.
Saturday 16 November marks the anniversary of the College's Foundation by William Morris, Lord Nuffield, and in the spirit of his generous founding donation, the students will also be encouraging Nuffield alumni and friends to give to the College's scholarship funds, above all the David Butler Scholarship in Politics, fundraising for which has been launched in celebration of David's 95th birthday this year.
Talking about last year's Giving Day - which took place on Friday 16 November 2018 - the Warden Andrew Dilnot said, "A huge thank you to everyone who was involved in last year's Giving Day: it matters an enormous amount and we are really grateful."
