Naif Alrogi

DPhil in History

Naif (Nā•yif) is a DPhil candidate in History at Nuffield College, Oxford, researching intelligence networks in the Middle East and Africa during the Cold War. His doctoral project examines Rhodesian covert activity in the Persian Gulf during the 1970s. He is the inaugural Stubbings-Deutsch scholar at Nuffield, with his research generously funded by the College.

Naif also helps organise the Oxford Intelligence Group (OIG), based at Nuffield, which hosts monthly seminars and an annual international conference.
