Antonino Polizzi
Antonino’s research focuses on early mortality, particularly reproductive-age mortality, and its impact on population structure.
Prior to joining the University of Oxford, Antonino completed a Master’s degree in Social Sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin, where he held a position as student research assistant to the chair of Microsociology. He also worked as a student research assistant at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and the Robert Koch Institute, Germany’s public health institute.
Antonino's research is funded by the Clarendon Fund and Nuffield College. He is an affiliated student at the International Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS).
