Placement Record

Many of our Taught Course students in Economics, Politics, and Sociology choose to progress to DPhil courses upon completion of their masters course. 

Many of these students choose to stay at Nuffield for their doctorate. Of the 12 taught course students who completed masters courses at Nuffield in the Academic Year 2015/16, for example, 5 were readmitted to Nuffield to take up DPhil courses in 2016/17. In addition, Nuffield MPhil and MSc students have gone on to enrol in doctoral programmes at Yale, Harvard, EUI and many other leading institutions.
