The 34th Annual Graduate Workshop in Economic and Social History at the University of Oxford features our MSc and first-year MPhil students presenting on their research. We have an exciting line-up that covers a wide range of subjects, locations and time periods: from 17th-century naval organisations to early 21st-century monetary policy in West Africa, urban regulation, and the effects of conflict and colonisation on economic development. A range of qualitative and quantitative methods are applied, and we are excited for you to experience the diversity of subject matter.
