Getting Involved in EDI at Nuffield
Input is always welcome from College members into our EDI activities. If you have questions, feedback or ideas, a good starting point is to contact the EDI and Welfare Officer, Sarah Milne Das. You may also like to get in touch with any of the key contacts listed here.
Some examples of how College members can contribute are:
- Several times a year, we invite speakers to the College to give talks on various topics related to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Suggestions for future speakers are always welcomed, from all members of the College community - contact Sarah with your ideas.
- The kitchen team usually provides themed lunches on Thursdays during term, focused on different countries, cultures and celebrations. If you have any suggestions for themes, or would like to collaborate with the team for a specific celebration or culture, please get in touch with Olivier, Robbie or Sarah.
- The Skills and Wellbeing Collection in the Nuffield College Library contains a range of titles focused on skills, careers, wellbeing and diversity designed to support College members in both their academic and non-academic life. The team is always keen to receive recommendations for books to include in the collection, so if you have any suggestions, please email them at library@nuffield.ox.ac.uk or submit them via the online book request form.
