Margery Perham Society Inaugural Event

This event will take place online as part of the University of Oxford's 'Meeting Minds Global' alumni reunion.

The Warden, Sir Andrew Dilnot, will host an 'afternoon tea', to bring together everyone who already made provisions in their Will for the College, and everyone who may be interested and would like to learn more about this way of giving.

Jennifer Castle (DPhil Economics 2003; Research Fellow 2006-2009) will give a short presentation on reaching net-zero emissions in a post-Covid world. The Warden will then touch upon the transformative impact that legacies have for the College and welcome all legators into the newly-founded Margery Perham Society, named after Margery Perham, first official Fellow of Nuffield.

All current members of the Margery Perham Society are invited, and we also welcome anyone who might be considering leaving a legacy to the College. Those who join will be sent an afternoon tea treat from renowned Yorkshire tea room Betty's.

For more information and to RSVP by Monday 5 April, email development@nuffield.ox.ac.uk.
