Notes: Week 3: Mon-Tues, 26-27 October: online graduate conference w/ keynote by Laura Valentini (KCL)
▪ Events on Zoom throughout 26 and 27 October (full schedule sent separately)
▪ address will take place at 3:00pm on Monday, 26 October
Workshop convenor: Professor Cécile Laborde
Workshop organisers: Samuel Bagg and Ruaíri Maguire
The workshops will take place on Tuesdays during term time, with a mixture of onsite workshops (from 3pm in the Fellows Garden Marquee) and also online (held at the old time of 2pm over zoom). Some of these events are longer conferences: please check the details of the programme.
Workshop format: All papers are pre-circulated to workshop participants a week before the workshop. Participants are expected to attend every week, and to read the paper before the workshop, as there is no presentation by speakers. During discussions, we use a hand/finger system: participants raise their hand if they have a new, unrelated point, and a finger if they have a brief point that relates to a previous question.
How to register: All members of the Oxford Political Theory Network are warmly invited to register for the workshop at the start of each term if they seek to attend, by sending an email to the workshop organisers (Samuel Bagg or Ruairi Maguire).
