Speaker: Jan Goldman

The Citadel Military College of South Carolina

This event is part of the Oxford Intelligence Group seminar series and will take place online.

It will be a great pleasure to host on 22 November our first speaker of Michaelmas Term 2021, Jan Goldman, whose visit to the UK will provide a rare opportunity to discuss a US viewpoint of the management of and threat to US intelligence assets, which have featured in recent media reports.

Dr Jan Goldman is Professor of Intelligence and Security Studies at The Citadel, Military College of South Carolina. He spent over 30 years as a practitioner and
educator in the U.S. intelligence community. He is currently the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Intelligence and CounterIntelligence; and the founding
series editor for Security Professionals Intelligence Education Series (SPIES) at Rowman and Littlefield Publishers. He is the author or editor of numerous publications to include Intelligence and Information Policy for National Security: Key Terms and Concepts; The Central Intelligence Agency: An Encyclopedia of Covert Operations, Intelligence Gathering, and Spies. His forthcoming book on ethical espionage will be released in 2022 (Lynne Rienner Publishing). He is the founder of Experiential Learning Services, LLC.
