Blueprint: How DNA Makes Us Who We Are (Allen Lane, October 2018) is the culmination of my 45 years of research on genetic and environmental factors that make us who we are as individuals – our personality, mental health and illness and cognitive abilities and disabilities. The DNA revolution has made it possible to begin to predict psychological problems and promise from DNA alone. My talk will focus on the messages of Blueprint for educational achievement.

The Sociology Seminar Series is convened by Bess Bukodi and Colin Mills.  For more information about this or any of the seminars in the series, please contact sociology.secretary@nuffield.ox.ac.uk.
