#GivingTuesday
Last week, as part of the global #GivingTuesday event, six Nuffield student volunteers called Alumni to reconnect and to raise funds for graduate scholarships.
The event was part of a global day of giving, and our students contacted alumni across Asia, Australia and Europe, as well as in North, Central, and South America over a period of 24 hours.
44% pledged a donation to the Graduate Scholarship Fund. Combined with matched funding from the College and University, the total raised so far from this short campaign is an amazing £7,877.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who picked up the phone to speak to us.
