Learning from the UK’s response to COVID-19

In this paper, Honorary Fellow Gus O’Donnell and co-author Harry Begg put forward a five-part framework that assesses the UK’s poor performance – medical, social and economic – in the face of coronavirus, compared to peer countries. They also propose how to shape an independent inquiry into the country’s performance.
