I am a DPhil candidate in Economics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. My research interests lie primarily in macroeconomics, with a particular focus on monetary and fiscal policy, inflation dynamics, and international macroeconomics.

My current research studies how the effects of macroeconomic shocks depend on the state of the economy inherited from previous shocks. In particular, I develop methods for linearising macroeconomic models around shock-induced transition paths and use them to study inflation dynamics and optimal monetary policy. I also work on optimal fiscal policy in economies with sectoral heterogeneity, focusing on the role of government procurement as a policy instrument.

I hold an MPhil in Economics with Distinction from the University of Oxford, where I received a full Nuffield College Scholarship, and a BSc in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University, where I received the 2022 Bocconi Excellence Award. I previously worked as a trainee in the External Developments Division of the European Central Bank and as a research assistant at lavoce.info and the Bocconi Sovereign Investment Lab.
