I am a DPhil candidate in Politics. My research sits broadly within contemporary liberal theory. Specifically, I am interested in rights: who has them, why they have them, what they are, and how they should be served. In my DPhil thesis, I am exploring the potential for a right to personal relationships.
My other research interests include: the (un)importance of reasonable disagreement to political justification; racial justice; and the political thought of John Rawls.
Before coming to Nuffield, I completed an MPhil in Politics: Political Theory (Distinction) at St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, where I was a Fletcher Scholar. Before that, I did a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick.
