DPhil in Social Policy

I am a DPhil student in Social Policy working on social stratification and sociogenomics under the supervision of E. Bukodi. My thesis aims to understand how the interplay between genetic endowments (nature) and environmental factors (nurture) shapes children´s skill formation and educational outcomes. My doctoral studies are funded by Nuffield College and the Clarendon Fund.

I hold a MSc in Social Policy Research from the London School of Economics, for which I was awarded the Titmuss Prize for Outstanding Performance and the Titmuss Prize for Outstanding Dissertation. Prior to this, I completed a Double B.A. in International Studies and Law, with a minor in Political Sciences, at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. During my studies I worked as a research assistant for the Institute of Public Policy of the Spanish Research Council (IPP-CSIC) and as a "JAE Intro" scholar for the Spanish Institute of Mathematical Science.
