Jingying is visiting Nuffield College from January to June 2025.

Her main research interests are occupational mobility, social stratification and advanced statistical modelling. Jingying’s first doctoral project unpacks the structuring power of occupations on partner choices and its impact on household inequality with social network analysis. She currently works on the education-based differences in individuals’ occupational trajectories and the gender differences in occupational change after critical life events such as childbirth.
