Luca Mian is a Graduate Research Assistant at HEC UNIL. He also obtained his Masters in Management at the University of Lausanne, while previously studying at Arizona State University and Università degli Studi di Padova.

He is interested in tackling inequality issues by mixing Economics with Behavioural Sciences, emphasizing an evolutionary approach. He has previously worked in Management Consulting and Brand Marketing. At Nuffield College, he will be working with Professors Ridhi Kashyap and Sonja Vogt on a project related to the behavioural mechanisms of son bias in India.

In his free time, Luca loves playing team sports and writing.
