MPhil in Economics

I am a first-year M-DPhil (PhD) student in Economics at the University of Oxford and a member of Nuffield College. My primary research interests lie in macroeconomics, with a particular focus on the transmission mechanism of monetary policy.

Prior to joining Oxford, I served as a senior economist at the Bank of England. In this role, I advised the Monetary Policy Committee on the design and evaluation of unconventional monetary policy tools, such as the Bank’s inaugural Quantitative Tightening programme in 2022.
