I am an M.Sc. student in Politics Research. I focus on the impact of state led economic intervention on voting preferences in fragmented electorates. Besides state capacity and voting behavior, I am also interested in institutional constraints and feasible policymaking, representative efficiencies in various governance structures, and campaign finance instruments such as electoral bonds.
My studies and work are supported by a joint scholarship from the Department of Politics and International Relations and Nuffield College. I hold a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University, where I double majored in Economics and Government, along with a minor in Public Policy, and hope to continue pursuing research and scholarship in politcal science through a doctoral program in the near future.
