DPhil in Economics

I am a third-year DPhil student in Economics at the University of Oxford and Nuffield College, supervised by Prof Michael McMahon and Prof Martin Ellison. My research interests lie within the realm of Macroeconomics, with a particular focus on fiscal-monetary interactions in a world of high sovereign debt levels. A secondary research interest of mine concerns information frictions between competing firms, as well as the impact of imperfect information on the transmission of shocks along supply chains.

Prior to joining Nuffield and Oxford, I was an undergraduate student and student research assistent at Goethe-University Frankfurt as well as a research intern at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the ZEW Institute for European Economic Research in Mannheim.
