Chapel Committee

About the Chapel Committee

The Chapel Committee was formed in October 2007 and is responsible for organising events in Nuffield College's Chapel. According to its terms of reference its primary tasks are as follows: 

  • To organise religious services to take place in the Chapel.
  • To organise other appropriate events to take place in the Chapel and, when necessary, alternative venues.
  • To consider and respond to ideas for events from College members.
  • To consider and report suggestions for changes to the fabric of the Chapel.

We hope that, regardless of your religious views, you will enjoy the events organised by the Chapel Committee. We have a page for upcoming events and reports on what we have already done. We hope to see you soon!


Membership

The Chapel Committee is to have “a minimum of 5 members, including at least one student, one Fellow and one member of staff.”
