The Oxford Cold War History Reading Group is an informal, discussion-based space for any graduate students interested in Cold War history, including politics, culture, diplomacy and global perspectives. We welcome all levels of familiarity with the topic.

This week's readings are:

      Gorbachev (2009), Introduction, Chapter 5
    • Jeremy Scott Friedman, Shadow Cold War: The Sino-Soviet Split and the Third World
      (2015), Introduction, Chapters 1 and 4.
