COP26: How green politics went mainstream
Work by Postdoctoral Researcher Zack Grant was featured in a piece in the Financial Times on Sunday on 'how green politics went mainstream'.
Zack's 2018 paper, which was originally published in West European Politics 42(3), finds that the green parties are performing better than they ever have in western European general elections. He found that, whilst newer green parties are losing out to mainstream parties 'stealing' their policies, established green parties are benefitting from the increased green agenda across the board.
