DPhil in Economics

I'm a first year DPhil candidate in economics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford. My research interests lie primarily in microeconomic theory, with a focus on the economics of communication. Key applications of my research include AI governance, finance, political economy, and the regulation of information markets, such as social media.

I hold an MPhil in Economics and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, where I was an Oxford-Nuffield Terence Gorman Scholar at Nuffield College and a Reach Oxford Scholar at Lincoln College, respectively. Previously, I worked at the monetary policy department of the Malaysian central bank (Bank Negara Malaysia).
