Moris Triventi is Professor of Sociology at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Milan. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Research in Social Stratification and Mobility and Principal Investigator and Co-PI of various international projects, including the ERC Consolidator Grant project EDUPOL (2024–2028). His research focuses on social stratification, educational inequalities, impact policy evaluation, and the application of advanced quantitative methods. His work has been published in various handbooks and leading academic journals, including the Annual Review of Sociology, Review of Educational Research, Social Science Research, and the European Sociological Review.
