Oxford Remote Access
The SSO account is used to access the Eduroam wireless network and Oxford University (Cisco) VPN service.
This account is also managed by central University IT Services.
It is separate from your Single Sign On (SSO) account, but it has the same username as your SSO.
You should set the password on your Remote Access Account to be different from that used for your SSO.
To activate your Remote Access Account please visit the IT Services website at https://www.it.ox.ac.uk/ and click the 'Manage accounts' link.
Be prepared to log in with your SSO username and password before being asked to activate and set a Remote Access password.
Note also that the Cisco VPN service from the University is not the same as the Nuffield College VPN (opens Intranet page).
