Research Fellow, Centre for Social Investigation (CSI)
Research Interests: Social and economic causes of subjective well-being.
I am a postdoctoral Research Fellow researching various aspects of social progress in Britain for the Nuffield Centre for Social Investigation. I have a particular interest in the role of social status and inequality in bringing about health and happiness. I also work on understanding the drivers of attitudes to immigration including 'Islamophobia', and am co-investigator on a new project to monitor Brexit-related attitudes over the period of the negotiations.
