Sharon White is the Senior Managing Director and Head of Global Affairs, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) London LLP.

Until September 2024, Sharon was Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership: the UK’s biggest employee- owned business; run on democrat lines; home to two of Britain’s best loved brands - John Lewis and Waitrose.

Sharon was Chief Executive of Ofcom in March 2015 until the end of 2019. Ofcom is the UK’s communications regulator with responsibility for the regulation of telecoms, media, postal services. Before joining Ofcom Sharon had a long career in the UK’s civil service where most recently she was the Second Permanent Secretary at the Treasury, responsible for overseeing the public finances.
